Also have protein bars (I love the Zone chocolate chip cookie dough bars!), Clif Zbars and Lara bars on hand for snacks or meals on-the-run.

And sorry, I forgot the eggbeaters.

Great topic. Makes me want to see the opposite topic: what people NEVER have in their carts.

Thanks, everyone. I love the lists.
I would add PowerBar Protein Plus Dulce de Leche bars. I always have one on hand, 'cause if I'm out and about or on the go it prevents fast food.

    What is Quark?

    I have the PB2! :)

This is a great thread, by the way! Lots of great ideas.

I am obsessed with Quark! It's technically a cheese, but taste wise and nutritionally, it's pretty much identical to fat free Greek yogurt (around 80 cals per 1/2 cup portion, 0g fat and 15g protein) but texture wise is more like cream cheese (THICK!) It melts really well though so can be added to hot pasta and tossed to coat, or sweetened for a breakfast/snack. Not sure where you live- I am in the UK right now and it's stored by cream cheese/cottage cheese, not yogurts. Though Greek yogurt is a good substitue. It's just not as thick and twice the price as Quark
