Bizarre Noxious House

odd subject line i know.

tell me if you have experienced anything like this.

i come home, anxious to sit down and relax..but there is this...smell.

its chemical, which scares me a bit, because i have a tiny bunny and beautiful dog living in my house!
i search and search for the source of the odd, but almost dismissible smell...at first.

The more i search, the more it bothers me. I finally realize that it is concentrated by the door, and as I look around, i see, sitting on the floor, a punctured bottle of Raid out door fogger, which has been slowly leaking into my house for God knows how long.

Friendy and Zaza were fine, but i dont even know if i am going to be able to eat dinner in my own house! im going to have to wipe everything down that might have been 'fogged' , and keeping an appatite with the smell is virtually impossible. Im actually quite nauseous right now.

You poor thing.

VENTILATION
Get the fans going.
Breath lots of fresh air while you are wiping down.
Take breaks..

I'm glad the animals and you are ok.

Never happened to me, but I did set off a large sized fire extinguisher in my walk in closet one time. What a mess!

Once we came home and it smelt kinda like bacon and something I dont know what haha we searched through our house trying to find the cause of this smell, and I found the source! It was a lamp with a bare lightbulb we had left on in our room and it was buring our wall!!

I am so glad you tracked down the source! Yikes!

Most definitely open ever door and window and try to air out your home for as many hours as possible.

Did you check the warning on the can to see what you should do if inhaled? (dumb question...I know.:ohwell: )

umm i can do bizarre. . .

my mom and dad went out of town for the weekend. i decided i'd be a good daughter and go over and pick up their dog and let her come stay the night in my house with me so she'd have some company. so we (we meaning me and the dog lol)just pull in the garage from picking her up. we're walking towards my side door of my house and i notice out of the corner of my eye something black (it's night time, btw) so i tell her "get it get it get it!" because i think it's the neighbor's cat who's been harassing my cats and this is a perfect opportunity for this feline to get a new you know what ripped! so, like a good dog, she goes tearing after it and i realize oh *kitten*!!!!!! :noway: that's no cat. . . .. . it's a . . . . . .. . skunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :noway: so i turn my "get it get it" into "c'mere! get back here!!!" and i'm trying to hurry up and unlock the door and get us both in the house. i get the door unlocked, we both step into the laudry room and it takes about 3 seconds for the smell to hit me! :noway: she'd been sprayed! so i hurried up and took her outside but the damage was done to my house! the worst part of the story is that i had to take her all the way back to mom and dad's and drop her back off that night because there was no way she could stay in my house like that, i didn't have a way to tie her, and the garage would have been too hot! (i live right on a busy state route) i had to drive with both the windows down and the sunroof open, it was outta control! so i finally get back to my house, open the door and . . . yeah. . . there's no way i'm staying here tonight! so i had to go across the road to my grandparents house and stay because the house smelled so bad!:laugh:

Holy crap gurl!! WTF? How does a can of Raid Fogger get punctured by your door? Huh? That is just soooo totally bizarre! Wel, I guess you won't hafta worry about fleas for awhile, but plz be careful with those kinds of things, we all luv you too much!
