mowing the yard counts as burnt caloires?

So......I spent over 2 hours mowing my hard today.
I found on MFP that it can count as cardio exercise......
Should I count it? Or just leave it out?
It calculates about 171 calories for 60 min....
Whats your opinion?

Count or leave out?
oh.....and it was a riding mower!

    I would leave it out if it was a riding mower,but dont listen to me ive never in my life mowed a yard lol

    I don't think I would count the driving mower. If it was a manual mower than I would definitely count it! Just my thoughts. :smile: That or only count half the time. I have done that when MFP appears to give me too many calories for something. I go with what I felt I burnt I would say that you burnt some if you were out there for 2 hours! Okay well there are my 2 cents.:smile:

    Yaeh count it if it's push mowed! That's a workout, I can sweat buckets if i try to push mow the yard even if it's only 60 degrees out! Plus you are using your upper body to push it!

    my opinion is push mower yes, riding not so much. I will probably count mine tomorrow providing i can get it started. can i count trying to get it started LOL. or maybe if i figure out the hrm can use that to track it
