Hey, my name is Samantha... and I just found out about MFP earlier today... my boyfriend has currently lost about 30 pounds in the past 3-4 months... and he was curious to see other peoples' fitness level at his weight and height... I guess through googling he came across this site. The last time I weighed myself... was probably about more than 2 weeks ago (we don't own a scale... and I was at my friend's place and I got too curious for my own good)... and I weighed about 189... :( I decided not until this past Wednesday (what with my boyfriend always doing so well! And I want to feel the same way) that I wanted to change my eating habits... you know... no more soda/juices... just water/milk/green tea... and stopping a lot of processed foods as well as stopping the fast foods. In-taking more fruits and veggies...

I just started Wednesday... and I just found out about this site today... I hope I can achieve some goals... this site seems so motivational and it really helps me set some serious goals so I feel like I'm going to see results eventually. I know these things are suppose to be a life style change and not just a quick weight loss. I want to eventually one day be back down to 150.

I love my body shape as it is... I just want to feel better about it... you know gettin' rid of some of them love handles! Haha!

Hello healthy lifestyle! Here I come! :)

    Hello!

Congratulations on taking a step to live a healthier life-you've already accomplished something by just setting your mind to get into shape! This site helps with motivation and also you can find a lot of great advice to help aid in your goals. There are a lot of success stories that can help motivate you!

I do recommend getting a scale + measuring tape- it can help with tracking your progress and the more you see yourself losing-the more you will want to keep up the good work! I've lost 50 pounds and whenever I saw another pound come off it just helped my drive to get into the best shape that I could.

Feel free to add myself as a friend! I would love to help in any way-I know it makes me feel better to have support along the way so I like to pass it on! :)
