Early/Late Strawberries
Options
You can do this with peak-of-season strawberries as well, but it's great for early or late strawberries that don't have as much sweetness. Everyone (myself included) makes a face when they hear what this is, but you have to try it to believe how good it tastes! Adjust quantities for how many strawberries you have.
4 ounces strawberries
1/2 Tb balsamic vinegar
1 packet Truvia sweetener (or other sweetener of choice)
Cut up strawberries into bite-sized pieces, removing hulls. Pour balsamic vinegar over strawberries and sprinkle with Truvia. Give a stir and allow to come to room temperature, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar and make sure strawberries are evenly coated.
