Can anyone help me with this? I made chicken salad last night and I'm trying to figure the calories per cup.

Ingredients:

1 rotisserie chicken from Wal-Mart, used all light and dark meat with minimal fat
approx. 2 cups light mayo
1 medium granny smith apple, chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

:flowerforyou: Thanks, y'all.

Without knowing the actual nutrition info for each component, I couldnt really tell you, but I can tell you how I do it. There are recipe calculators online, but I always just use a spreadsheet. I type in all the ingredients and all of their nutritional information...then I add up the total number of each category (i.e. calories, fat, sodium, etc.) Then I divide each category by the number of servings and I have the nutritional info for each serving. I know this is a really long way to do it, but Ive found that it's the most accurate because I can use the exact nutritional info for each ingredient I am using and get a clear picture of what I am actually eating calorie wise. I hope this helps a little. Someone may be along with a much easier way to do it...like I said I know there are online tools, but (and it may just be because I am not using them properly) I havent figured out how to add the actual ingredients that I used and usually have to accept a default product...

    Hope this helps a bit!
