I need advice from pro shoppers lol. What is considered good pricing for meats per lb? Can anyone suggest a ballpark range I should be looking for. It seems just because the word "sale" is on it doesn't really mean its a good price.

I know it can be different depending on where you live...but even if you have any tips on how to make sure your not paying to much.

    It really depend on the type of cut you will buy. Ground beef may be $1.00/lb and prime rib can be $20. I usually buy meat at SAMs and freeze smaller portions. In the long run, a bulk purchase is cheaper.
