Cooking Method

When you create a recipe in MFP, how do you account for the cooking method?
For instance, if I grill something or if I fry it, the cooking method will affect calories and fat. This is not a problem just with MFP, but with any software or website that allows the entry of recipes. Usually, for fried things I just add some oil to the recipe, but that is obviously going to be just a very crude guess.
Is there any way to do this with a bit more precision?

Measure out what you put in, and list each ingredient on its own.
Not that I always do that, but it is the most accurate way.0
