Hi All,
I started my weightloss journey in January, and started Couch to 5K in February. In March I ran my first 5K, (was not done with C25K, maybe on week 5 or 6) and ran it in 31:39. I was so proud of my time and the fact that I ran 3.2 miles without stopping once.
Since then I have finished the C25K, and upped my runs to 4 miles a few times week, and worked in a few sessions of interval training for some 3 mile runs.
I did a 5K yesterday, approximately 6 weeks after my first one. My time.... wait for it...................................

not 31:00,

not 30:00

not even 29:00

I ran it in

28:45!!!!!!!

WHOO HOO!!!!!

Wow, way to go. That is great progress and a huge time improvement. This is great inspiration and hope for me as a begining runner who is signed up for my first 5k next month and still getting through the c25k program.

That's incredible, I'd be happy to get to week 9 and run 5k without actually passing out!

Thanks for posting this, hearing about other people's achievements is so inspiring. :)
