Hello everyone!

about a week ago i started a 'diet' where i was having no more than 1000 calories a day and i used the elliptical for about 30 minutes a day and burned about 500 calories doing so. I am now realizing that this is the main reason that when i start a diet like this i always end up failing after a week or so.

I read the 'newbies read this' link and it was very informative! starting tomorrow i will increase my caloric intake to 1500-1600 per day and eat the calories that i burn at the gym! that way i won't starve myself and yet still lose weight.

I am 6'2'' currently 358 and my goal is 230....WISH ME LUCK!
I appreciate any support.
