To all of you who bike ride,

Get this...
I rode my bike around town this past Friday to run errands and get in a calorie killing workout.

Before entering one building, I took off my helmet. My hairstyle was utterly destroyed (sweat/helmet marks) and every last curl was completely gone or smashed. I can only imagine what the people who walked past me were thinking when they saw the wet mop on my head.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to keep my hair looking fresh and stylish while wearing my bike helmet?
(Btw, my hair is cut in a 'bob' style & is shorter in the back and slightly longer on the sides so I can't pull it back into a ponytail :-( .)

Helmet hair is a small price to pay if it keeps you from suffering a traumatic brain injury. Just sayin'! Other than that, I'm sorry to say I have no alternatives to offer, but good luck! :drinker:

I wear a bandana (obviously :P) I commute to work via bike at least 4x a week and this has worked well. Although my bangs usually need a little adjustment before I start. It also keeps my ears warm on the windy days.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I never thought about wearing a bandana! I will try that and see how I do!! Thanks again.
