    Well, i asked my husband if he would match my weight loss goal, and then after his last semester for civil engineering (thank goodness), we would go away for a weekend and celebrate. So this morning we went jogging for an hour through trails. Bless his heart, he is just getting over from a respiratory infection, so it was extra hard on him, but he did it and was supportive. And we were both surprised that I was able to do it because last year after 5 minutes I was laying on the ground crying in between trying to breath.

    Anyway, we're on a roll. Hope everyone did well.

  • Great job to both of you! Today has been hard, most days are for me. I have ADD and i refuse to take medication. But, after dinner tonight i'm fast walking a mile and going to do my strength training!!!

    Hey everyone! I am so excited to be doing this! I got on earlier tonight and saw that you all had been excercising and I hadn't yet so I got off the computer and went to the gym!! 30 mins on the elliptical! Good job to everyone today!

    HELLO BLACK TEAM

    I am so excited to be part of this team. I hope I don't let everyone down too much this week. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this Saturday so I have been just trying to basically maintain my weight for the last two weeks as my alterations are done on my dress. As well we are having a huge Belguim style meal at the wedding on Saturday and all bets are off for the day as we have all worked so hard on this wedding so Saturday is my day no counting cals, no guilt!
    On Sunday I will Weigh in first thing in the morning see what the damage is and kick start my butt back into gear. I hope you all have a great weekend and I hope to chat with you all come Sunday!

    yesterday did treadmill for an hour. today as soon as i finish this i am getting my workout clothes on and doing BL cardio dvd. eating has been super. no problems there.

    I just finished "Sweatin To The Oldies" and plan on walking 3 miles this afternoon. Way to go, Chipper, on both your eating & exercising! Have a great workout and an awesome day!

  • Weddings are so my guilt free days! Mmm CAKE! hehe :laugh: I had a question i thought i would try and ask here.. but im sure its the wrong spot. If you're doing a video how do you know how many calories your burn? Or something like digging a ditch?... :laugh: (im digging a huge dirt mound out of my back yard for a month now)

    Talked to canelitas and her idea is that when you guys weigh in send me a message by Wednesday morning and then I can make one post for all of us and our team total.

    As for me, 3 miles on the treadmill this morning and body pump this afternoon.

    Okay sounds great so weigh-in day's are Wednesday's I will post measurements then too!!!!!
    Just got off the treadmill I run a day care from 530am - 430pm so I only did 1.5 miles but I will hit it again after the kiddies go to bed and do another 1.5 miles so log me in for 3.0 miles today ..... not counting running my butt off after 5 kids ohhhhhh make that 6 my husband was home today!!!!!

    conniptionfits----i wear a heart rate monitor. it tells me how many cals i burn. i only wear it while i am exercising.
    today i am feeling really bloated. i hate this.

  • Heya thanks chipper i'll look into getting one!

    -today has been a good food day! but the exercise is blah. i can't seem to keep up to my vids so i burn like 20 cals.. :laugh: hopefully tomorrow will be better!

    Hey everyone! Hope you had a fantastic day! I was way over on my sodium today but all the other numbers were great. :explode: I did A LOT of exercise today (1 hour of exercise videos & walked 3 miles this evening with the hubby). Hope everyone had a good day and has an even better night!:drinker:

    Hey black team! Good job today everyone. I made myself go running/walking with the dog tonight and much to my surprise I did more running than walking! Shellybee don't worry about your free day you deserve it girl! Just get back on board the next day. I allow myself to eat something "bad" on Sundays or I think I would go crazy! Keep up the good work everyone.

    Hi there, thanks for letting me join the team. I did work out today for 48 minutes. I am in a weight loss class at the gym and we are in week 9 of 12. we are continuing to work in zone 3 for over 80% of the 60 minutes. I went to the dr on tuesday and she told me to lay off the weights for a couple of weeks until my body finishes getting used to all the fiber i've added to my diet. KWIM? w/out getting too gross i just have to take it easy, that is why i wasn't able to complete my full hour of exercise. I'm starting to feel better so i should be able to get more cardio in as the week progresses. I'm definitely on my way towards my goal. my hardest thing is keeping motivated. so when my Team Weight Loss class is over the end of August I'll need to keep accountable to someone or some team. I've worked out my cardio schedule for when the class is over and I'm going to do a spin class at the gym in the morning after i drop my daughter at school. weights will come in during the strictly strength class that the gym offers in the morning too. i didn't get measured today because i'm way too bloated so the trainer for the class said she'd wait until i was better. we'll see how i feel tomorrow at class. hope everyone has a happy and healthy day!

    good morning black team!

    i am somewhat confused because last week i started using this site and i thought i did real well with it. stayed under my my calorie goal, not by much, and worked out 4 times for at least 30 minutes on the treadmill. so i was a little upset when i got on the scale and saw that i was still 180.5!!! i was hoping to lose at LEAST a pound. but today is another day and i am going at it again. this will be a good week!

    i was a memeber of curves. its a great place to START, when you have no endurance, but once y ou pick it up you will find that it becomes more of a maintence program and there really isnt much room for improvement. that is how i feel about curves. are you thinking of joining? like i said, its great for a beginner....

    Yeah that's the impression i got. I'm not sure i dont realyl like gyms and i don't do to good working out on my own so i thought i might try it atlaest until Christmas. Not tooooo sure yet :D but thanks a lot for the info! <3
  • HEYA EVERYONEEEEEEEEE WOOOOOOOOOT :D i'm in a great mood today. I hope you all are too :) my workout was great yesterday along with my eating for the first time! I moved and had to load it all and almost unload all of my stuff by myself and unpack it all so i worked HARD. :) im proud of myself i had to brag. hehe
