That steak was sooooooo many calories :noway: We went out to a family dinner tonight and I passed on the caeser salad and had plain romaine with a light dressing, I also skipped mashed potatoes and cake and only ate HALF a steak. I thought I did so well but it still put me over my 1200cal by 800 :grumble: Thank god tomorrow is a new day!

    I know how you feel. I felt the need to over-do it tonight no matter how many times I asked myself if that's what I really wanted. I ate 2 burgers for dinner, granted they were turkey and they were on whole wheat buns. Now i feel sick! :ohwell:

    I hear ya's . i have always been a big meat eater...until I started on here. the first time I typed in steak and saw what the calorie number was I almost fainted. I still eat it but not very often and in much smaller portions; same as hamburger and other meats. The smell of a BBQ is a mighty tempter!!!

    Tell me about it...I used to think some of the food I was eating was healthy and then I logged it and found out the truth...Now I try to log things I dont' know about in before I eat them...to see if its worth it, especially now that I know how hard it is to burn 250 calories...I think twice and make sure its gonna be worth the calories....I've learned alot on this site...good luck to you...and your right, tomorrow is a new day!!!
