An NSV that struck home....

I was informed today, by my loving husband, that since tomorrow is our 8th wedding anniversary, and Sunday is Mother's Day, that I must go shopping for myself because, "I am tired of seeing you in clothes that make you look bigger than you are." I took the hint and went shopping. Since I have started my official journey, I have dropped 2 pants sizes 1 shirt size, and 2 bra sizes. I was dumbfounded when I put on a pair of size 12 pants today, and they fit, perfectly! I have not been a size 12 since before I had kids!
I stopped in with the kids to see my hubby at work yesterday. I was on my way to softball practice, so I was dressed in swishy pants and 2 shirts. One of his coworkers came up to my hubby after I left and said, "I don't know how to say this, but your wife has lost a ton of weight and she is looking really wonderful!" They talked for a bit, then my hubby told him that I wanted to loose more weight and my hubby's coworker got angry saying, "WHY???? Where is she going to loose it from?" Really??? Someone said that about MEEE???
However, it still is odd to me that I was a size 12 in high school and weighed between 12 and 18lbs lighter than I do now....But hey, it's still an NSV!
