i am a 24 year old wife and mother of 2 biological and 3 step children!
I have tried more than once since the birth of my youngest son 6/09 to lose this weight and i had gotten down to 135 by our 6 week check up the doctor was impressed but post partum took me and i woke up one day my baby was 8 months old and i was 150 lbs! ....i was always a thin 110 until i had my first son! .... i hate the weight but i cant help but love myself and where i am in my life! ... i want to be happier with my body and my goal is to go from my current 146 to 125. i want to take it 5 lbs at a time though and ill stop when im happy with what i see. i NEED people to support me in my journey im a late night snacker and i LOVE those gummy fruit snacks! ...... i have already cut out juice which was an easy 600 cal a day but i go good for a few days and then BAM! ... im eating EVERYTHING in sight! ....its times like those that i REALLY need someone to talk to!

Welcome to MFP. I've read alot of inspiring stories here that haver really lifted my motivations. What I do is try to break my meals down to smaller portions, that way I have the room for snacking or desserts. I do go over my goal, but everyday is a new day. I to gained a mass amount of weight, after my last child though. And I also use to be on the other end of the weight stick with a fast metabolism, no matter what I ate, I burned it soooo fast. I still don't have the hang of this, but I would like to offer my support to you. Don't be too hard on yourself, it's easy to go overboard, but you will get there. Add me as a friend if you'd like. Again, welcome.
