Aging

I am new to this site, but found it through a book from Bull Publishing: Stanford University entitled: Lose Weight, Live Healthy. I ordered the book because of the changes I have noticed with the distribution and increase in weight that I have experienced over the past several years. I am 53 years old, post-menopausal, and diagnosed with Osteoporosis that I am desperately trying to treat with diet versus medications (other than supplements). I am very excited about this site that helps me track the calcium and other nutrients that are important for me to monitor. In general, I have not had a weight problem throughout my life. But, I know that I need to change my eating habits for good health as I age. Any sympathetic Boomers out there? Thanks!
