I need help. I bought the powder thinking of making smoothies... even bought the fruit, but then I realized I have no idea how to actually put it all together. Anyone have a favorite recipe...smoothie or otherwise?

I use my vanilla flavored stuff, put it in the mini blender with some skim milk and ice and blend til its all the same consistency. For added flavor I'll add a little vanilla extract and mix in some cool whip. It was a sweet yummy treat0

I usually do about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of either apple juice (no sugar added) or 1% milk, some yogurt, frozen berries and sometimes 1/2 a banana as well and of course a scoop of protein powder. Smoothies are really easy just mix and match things0

On the powder I have, it has the suggested amount of milk and powder to make a shake...I usually add more milk because I don't like it thick. So I would start with that and see. It also depends how thick your smoothies already are without the powder. Probably just a scoop would be enough, but play with it and see what you like. If it's too thick, add more juice and stir.
I also like to make oatmeal with water and add a little milk and a scoop of powder after.0 -
I'll give it a shot..thanks!0

Protein Powder Recipes
Protein Powder & Oatmeal:
This is an extremely fast and easy meal for when you are in a rush. Simply take your serving of oatmeal, cook it through your preferred method and then add a scoop of protein powder in after its finished cooking.
Note however that you may wish to add a little more water before cooking as the protein powder will act as a thickener. Other additions that you can add to increase the taste and nutrient profile are peanut butter, chopped or frozen fruit and milk.

If you are looking for a more complete protein and fat meal, which may be the case for those on carb cycling plans, add in a tablespoon of peanut butter to get the macronutrient profile you need.
