Fat VS Muscle

I was talking with this guy today was trying to tell me that that muscle weighs more then fat, you know how many times I have heard this crap. A pound is a pound!! :explode:

He was probably talking about density. A cubic inch of muscle weighs more than a cubic inch of fat. 1 lb of muscle in your body occupies less space than 1 lb of fat.0

Well, if he didn't say a pound of muscle vs. a pound of fat, then he was right. The same volume of muscle does weigh more than fat.0

Thats like saying chocolate has more calories then broccoli..... but 100 calories are 100 calories!
so yes. muscle weighs more then fat by volume. That is what people mean when they say this sheesh0 -
if they dont say 1lb of muscle is heavier tha 1lb of fat, then where is the confusion??
much more dense. they are almost always talking volume. to think otherwise is silly.0
