Exercise with carpel tunnel

I have been having really bad pains in my wrist and my hands. I have not been to the doctor yet but i plan on going sometime next week. I thnk that it may be carpel tunnel (however you spell it) or mayb it is just my arthritis can i still do jillian's 30 day shred? It hurts to hold things and i doubt i will be able to do push-ups... I know its better to b safe than sorry so i think i might jus stick to walking/jogging and situps. I just wanted to hear how you guys deal with this if you have it... All advice is greatly appreciated! love yall!
