I was going to have hummus mixed with cheddar, red pepper and dill pickles in my pita... but I put it into a bowl to mix and was hearing a clink as i was stirring it.. So i thought maybe there was a piece of broken glass... So i looked through it all and found a penny!! :grumble: :noway: I took it out.. and i thought "Thats disgusting!! My food is dirty now!!" But I thought I would take a bite anyways since I was so looking forward to it.. How bad could it be? So with my first bite I was gagging while looking at the penny. I just couldnt do it.. and that was A LOT of food that has just went to waste! Im so mad!! And now dont know what to eat for lunch and I dont have time now to eat lunch since its nap time!! I think I may just go with a plain peanut butter and honey sandwhich!

Nice selection ladies! I ended up having a great lunch:

Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, black olives, chickpeas and a bit of crumbled feta with a drizzle of olive oil. Then threw a couple of slices of light turkey deli meat on the side with a bit of hummus. It was awesome!

Today was quinoa with sauted green beans, yellow beans, carrots. I used sesame oil and some chili paste to saute in. Quick & easy since the quinoa was leftover.
