Tracking sodium

Hello everyone!

Curious other then tracking sodium/salt found naturally or added into some prepared foods, do you track your salt ... like how much you add into your meals for seasoning.

After some suggestions from fellow MFP I track my sodium now - everything I add. While I eat clean and only use sea salt - my levels are always half of the suggested. I'm happy but I wonder if this is really true and accurate. I don't have any issues with high blood pressure but my mother has it so it runs in my family. Any thoughts?

I did for a while, but I found the sodium quantities listed in here so inaccurate it was pointless really.

I track all my sodium but I am careful on the items I choose in which other MFP clients have added. Some of those are incorrect so i use another or add my own into the database. I do not add any salt or salt seasons to my food so it is easier for me to track what comes in food naturally. I use Mrs Dash which has no sodium and still the flavor. I check the labels on everything before I eat it and I do notice that people will track they had a piece of KFC and then track no sodium.. Either they dont realize what they did or they are just cheating themselves.
