Sheesh!!!

25 minutes on the elliptical. Crossramps at 11 or 12, resistance at 6. I think I did about 2 miles.

The exercise calculator here reads 289 calories. The Precor elliptical read 250 calories. My Reebok HRM (new) read 169 calories.

 :ohwell: :noway: :frown:

I logged 250, since I've been using the machine calculated calories for so long now, but WTF mate? What should I REALLY be using?? :frown:

ADVICE, PLEASE!!

I've heard the HRM are the best bet. It's attached to ya body. I know when I used the machines readings and eating those cals it was to many and I ended up stuck where I was for about 3wks cause my body had to catch up.

I would go with your HRM - it is such a valuable tool, so now you know how many calories you really burned, and how many you should eat.

Try following what your HRM says and see what happens...

*whines* But I bought the HRM to tell me how many MORE calories I was burning compared to what the machine reads!!

Alright, I'm not happy about it, but I guess I'll go with what the HRM reads. :grumble:

    I understand your pain.

I'd go with the more conservative number.

I feel I'm overestimating my calories and therefore that may explain why the weighing scales is "stuck".
