I work in a busy office.. in the past if I lost 15-20lbs people would comment and ask what I'm doing. This time...nada, lol. It made me wonder.. but I wasn't obsessed about it and kept doing what I'm doing. I figured they'd notice eventually, lol

Now that I've lost over 50lbs though I'm getting the comments and compliments, lol. Of course it wasn't a fast loss and has been since last August.. but still it took them till 50lbs? lol

Now to really focus on the positive feed back and use that as my push to get me to the halfway to goal mark that is 26lbs away. Would love to hit that by end of August - but not a set in stone date.

It's because they see you everday, and the loss was slower. I know I never "see" any of my own loss until I measure or put on an old pair of pants that now are too big to wear.....then it is like a lightbulb went off!

WAY TO GO on the loss though!!! that is a major accomlpishment!!!

I know. No one really notices my weight loss until we go shopping. But I am beginning to notice so life is good! Congrats on your accomplishment!

    Congratulations

It is hard and frustrating when it seems like no one notices, but keep in mind, a good chunk of the time it was winter, holidays and depending on the type of office you work in, quite busy. If you were wearing winter sweaters and or baggy clohtes it would be easy to hide your figure. If you have beed working there for a while and they have known you ups and downs, thay may not have noticed either.

Good for you though, you kept going. Keep up the good work, best wishes.

    HI
great result here, rmember you are doing this for you not them !!!!!

take a before and current picture to work and put it where you can see it

if others see it say nothing, just use it as a personal journey planner to remind you where you have come from and where you are going! Others will then see your determination, i read somewhere that most of us who are overweight are destined to fail as our colleagues and peers willnot support us

its your life, your moves and your effort that has brought you down this path, perhaps they have noticed but were afraid that you might slip so they said nothing to help ( cruel to be kind as they realised previously you slipped if i read this correctly???)

I ws with a client today, tough one as they are all slim healthy young ladies and I actually blushed as they noticed my own losses and commented, over nothing - I chose a short black coffee over tall white latte, no sugar and thats when one of them commented on my improvements ......I mean Im 48 years old and I blushed when 2 ladies in their early 30's started paying me compliments about my weight loss !!!!!!!!
just enjoy your success for you - if they notice enjoy if they don't just carry on it is coming

i think I was thinking that since I'm usually in my office and not around the front that much.. that long time patients would have noticed sooner, lol

Since my coworker is so sick right now I'm handling all her responsibilities and am in constant contact with all the patients for the last week and this is when the comments are starting to come in.

I know it makes sense that they are noticing now.. but since they've always noticed so fast in the past.. this is just striking me as funny, lol. It doesn't discourage me in any way as this in my lifestyle change and I know its noticeable.
