    Hi,

Sorry I posted on your other thread and made a comment about how much you work out.

I wasn't having a go or anything, I am quite amazed as to some of your recent burns.

I think the issue is not "too much" exercise but the fact you can sometimes still be left with 1000 cals per day that you have trouble eating.

My personal view is that exercise calories are meant to be eaten back - the more you exercise the more you eat.

    Not everyone agree's though.

If you hurt yourself by going to long or to hard, then yes, you can exercise to much.

Many injuries are caused by overuse. If you have been loosing weight by exercising, then these injuries can hender your weight-loss. Also, if you are not properly fueling your body (eating the right foods or eating enough calories) loads of exercise can do more harm than good.

    yes.
    muscles need time to heal.
you can overtrain and mess up your progress.
less is more in some cases. It's hard to learn that at first, I still have trouble accepted the fact that my muscles don't grow in the gym, they grow at home when I'm eating right and resting.

Yes I agree with the other posters, you can get to much of a good thing. I have actually overtrained to the point that I had to take 3 months off weight lifting for physical therapy because of overuse of my shoulder, that was almost a year ago and I'm just getting back to where I was with my upper body weight lifting, I basically lost a whole year because I was wanting things change to quickly!
