I was on a great losing weight streak lost 33 pounds then it stopped and even started climbing back up a little gained 5 back. Sitting here last night trying to figure out what changed then it hit me like a ton of krispy kream donuts (uuuuhhhmmmmm donuts, bad chris stop that) I never adjusted my calorie intake after losing the initial weight, MFP had me at 1840 calories originaly, after the adjustment MFP has ma at 1560. Big difference DOOOHHHH!!!!!

Stuff happens, today is a new day!0

woops! Atleast you have figured it out. LOL Good luck on your journey!0

Do you have to physically overwrite then after having lost so much?
PS How come you have so many calories to eat? I'm on 1290!0 -
Go to MY HOME tab then to GOALS, it will recalculate your calories, My calorie intake might be more than yours due to male/female differences and I have a very physical and active job.0

Yeah, I learned that it doesn't automatically adjust your calories as you lose weight, so each time you do lose weight, you have to go to goals (not change anything), then re-save, and it'll change your calories.0

Oh my......could this possibly be why I am stuck at 30 lbs lost? I am eating the same stuff but had to stop Zumba due to a knee injury. Got to go figure out how to calculate my caloric intake.
Good Luck to you!

I did that same thing, though fortunately noticed after ten pounds. Seems like a glitch in the system. I think the "DOOOOOOH!" should go to MFP!0

HMMMM interesting that a couple of others had this happen all around the 30 pounds of lose area0
-
Oh crap - did that, and mines gone down now, not up! I'm now allowed 1230 instead of 1290 - thought it would go up!0

I didn't know this. I lost 10 pounds right away, and now haven't lost anything for about 3 weeks. I just redid my goals, and my calories lowered by 120 per day. Thanks for letting me know about this! Hopefully I will see some progress now!0
