Final and Official First Summer Challenge Initial Weigh In

Hi All!
Welcome to the Final INitial Weigh In of the First Official Summer Challenge of 2011 (aka continuation of 149Lore's challenge). Try saying all that 5 times fast! Well, we've doubled our participation numbers and added another group to accommodate. I was able to add everyone that sent me their starting weights, who requested being added to our group after the initial groups were formed. Kudos to all of you for joining this challenge and working to getting healthy. Thanks to the volunteers for team leaders. For this go around, MomofMikeandLiam will be the team leader for the newly added team. Maybe someone else will step up and continue this after June 30 and we can perhaps have new team leaders. Anyway, I think I may have had to change a few team members around to help balance out the weights, but I did try to keep initial teams together whenever possible.
Below I've posted the information I've received from you, which includes all of your starting weights and some have added personal weight goals to reach by June 20. Please check the numbers and make sure they are correct, and let me know ASAP if there is an issue so I can correct it.
Our overall Goals are:
1. Support for our teammates and all members of the challenge.
2. Lose as much weight as we can both individually and as a team by June 30
3. Set/achieve any personal goals that you all may have
4. Last but by no means least, have fun.
Here's how this works:
1. Today is the initial weigh in. We will start recording weight loss next Monday.
2. Please make sure that you are friends with everyone on your team (and me) for easier communication.
3. Your team leader will send you an introductory email and let you know how/when they need to get your MONDAY weights from you, so that they can email them to me by the MONDAY NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT deadline.
4. If you miss your team leader's deadline, you still have until MIDNIGHT MONDAY NIGHT to email them to me and make it on the list, but please also communicate that with your team leader.
5. Two weeks of us not getting your weigh-ins and we will drop you off the list.
6. I will post weekly results on a separate post every Tuesday. Please do not post your official weigh ins on the post, but you can use it to add supportive comments.

Sorry Snookemz, I had to do all kinds of fenagling to get things close. They will always be Orange, but now they have a littel extra color! LOL!0

To make things really fair, you should calculate the weight loss in percentage. I can tell you how if you do not know.0

I'm going to miss my Orange team but will do my best with my new team... I want to loose 15 lbs by June so let's get cracking!

Im with you Lynne - gonna miss my orange team members but will put in 100% effort for our new team members purple (a nice splash of colour will do us good lol).
Im going for 17lb by 30 June so really have to work those workouts.

So, it's been almost a week, how is everyone doing? Weekend is upon us, which for me is usually the hardest times to get in tha twater and keep those calories down. I have a 10K (first one ever) on Sunday, and really hoping that will help push me to drink more water. Remember, weigh in is aroundt he corner. Be strong and have a great weekend.0
