My family loves this stuff but I am trying really hard to avoid GMO's and autolyzed yeast extract and other not so "clean eaitng" food additives. I bought a box of Reese quick cook wild rice and I have both quick cook brown rice and some Lundberg long grain rice. I need to know how to season it though so it tastes good! Does any one have any recipes or ideas?

What are you eating it with? I buy brown rice. I sometimes serve it as is if I have something it will mix with that will flavor it up all on its own. Other times, I cook in chicken (or beef) reduced sodium broth and add some cooked peas and carrots. If I'm having a more Mexicali type food, I'll add a couple TBSP of medium salsa and a few shakes of cumin and/or chili powder.

I just try to stay away from the salt as much as possible while getting away from bland.

Well for breakfast I enjoy rice with milk, sugar and cinnamon... sounds strange but I promise its delicous!

For dinner, try a pasta sauce mixed in with it.. Ragu makes a parmeasan alfredo sauce that is only 60 calories for 1/4 cup...

you could also fry it in a pan with veggies and a few eggs and make "fried rice" use olive oil its healthier..

Cook a rump roast until it is falling apart..find a low calorie BBQ sauce (or make your own) and make pulled pork, serve over the rice.

Make orange chicken (un breaded) with pineapple and red peppers (pull a orange sauce off of the internet) and then serve that over rice...

cream of mushroom and cheese serve with a plate of steamed veggies.
