Hi, I was just hoping to get some opinions on my weight loss plans/goals to see if everyone feels like i'm going about things in a good way.

i'm 5'4" my starting weight was 229 and now i'm 219, so i have lost 10 lbs and I started about 11 weeks ago. I'm happy with that. I want to lose about 5 lbs per month for the first several months then i suppose it will taper off a bit.

I have been trying to eat about 1600 calories, and exercise about 400, so my net calories are around 1200. sound good?

I exercised on my stationary bike for the first several weeks, and now i'm in the middle of the 30 day shred. i also go on walks with my kids when the weather is nice. i can't go to a gym or anything like that because of my work schedule and children. I am just trying to eat as healthy as I can and trying to cut down sodium which is hard.

thanks for opinions! :)

Your plan and what you're doing looks good to me!

Looks like what you're doing is just fine. As long as your sticking to your calorie and exercise goals you should be fine. Focusing more on being healthy than "getting skinny", I think is the magic key. You're definately on the right track, girl!

You've been doing a great job and your plan sounds great to me. I love that you are happy with even the small losses, and that you aren't trying to lose it all at once. That is where so many people mess up. Keep up the great work, Stef.

Thanks you all. I wanted to be sure like 20 people didn't see something obvious that I should/ shouldn't be doing ;)
