Questions about exercise...

Hello, i am new to this site and am still confused what i should be logging as far as exercise goes. My activity level at my job is active so the site has accounted for that but i also work out among other daily chores. So should I log my every move, or just the ones that last half an hour or longer?

    Just log any exercise you do if you've set your settings to active.

    I think it depends on how much energy you're expending. If you're busting your butt for 10-20 minutes on the treadmill or whatever....by all means log it...............you're putting in the work. I try not to log every day activities like cleaning or cooking unless it's hard core all day cleaning which is rare for me since I do a little every day. But if say you help a friend move or clean a very in need house....well log it.

    No, your job is already included in your activity level which helps decide your calorie goal...your exercise is completely separate.

    This otherwise you probably wouldn't lose anything and most likely end up gaining.

    thanks guys, i will definately only log what i would truly consider as exercise, which is what i thought from the beginning but being a newbie i thought i'd ask :)
