Hi Everyone,
I am looking to get a heart rate monitor, don't want to spend a fortune, but want a good one as well!
I ahve started looking and am completely mind boggled, there is too much choice!
Can I have some suggestions please of a good one?
Thanks

I've got a polar FT4 and it rocks. Very reliable HR reading, and good history of calorie burn etc kept on the watch0

I recently bought a Polar FT4 too. It does the job £54 on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001U0OFCS/ref=oss_product0

Do all of them have a chest strap, can you get a HRM without the chest strap?0

You can get a HRM without a chest strap, but it only measures HR when you put your fingers on the watch - so you don't have a constant reading and of course after the workout you don't get any idea of maximum or average heart rate, or calories burned.
Mine's a Polar FT4 which I'm very happy with.0 -
Tanks Guys, for all your input, think i'll go for the FT4, seems to be the HRM of choice0
