help with fried chicken!!!

Hey guys! i just wanted to know about frying chicken! I'm frying 4 oz patties of chicekn in 6 cups of grease (with my fry daddy) how do i know how much grease i'm getting to put down for my calorie consumption. Or.. My to find my best guess???

    Without weighing it, you don't.

    What I do now is "fry" my boneless/skinless breasts in the oven on a sheet with a little olive oil. I measure the oil-never use more than 1 tblspoon--and then just cut what I used in my calories.
  • thanks that's a good idea i'm sure im over my calories today :laugh: but i had to choice in what to eat for lunch today :(
  • I use George Foreman grill for everything and add flaxseed to the side dish.
    so far so good.

    I coat chicken with mayo (olive oil kind) roll in bread crumbs with parmesan cheese, and bake. Then I count all the calories.
  • after you oil cools down, re-measure the oil, and then divide the difference among the pieces that your fried.
