I JUST didn't FEEL like it.....

Ahh How many times have each and every one of us been there?
It was a tough day at work...
It was too cold...
It was too hot...
It was too depressing...
You worked out yesterday,
You can skip today...
Well I went into this last night.
It was cold, It was snowning...
(I do not like snow as an FYI...I mean if you CAN say you HATE something...Well, I HATE SNOW! I have my reasons.)
The plan that I THOUGHT was a good one to give my car traction by putting our marine batteries in my car for extra weight, was met with disdain from my man. How could I have been so silly as to think that it would work? :noway:
Never mind the fact that it did. :ohwell:
Oh and how THOUGHTLESS of me to not take the time to sweep the stoop at lunch, he slipped on it!
Mind you with the snow I had MAYBE 5 minutes to let the dogs out, find something to eat, put them back in their kennels and slowly drive back to work.:grumble:
Oh and the thing that I pulled out for dinner did not look good to him because he had a big lunch at work and was not hungry, But if "I" wanted to eat it I could. :explode:
Hey sometimes men are this way too. It Happens...:ohwell:
So he went to bed leaving me in my mounting depression.
I made my whole wheat noodles with tomato sauce and went into bed myself shortly after...
Where I met him... Vegging out.....
He asked what I wanted to do that night and I said...
"I SHOULD go downstairs and work out,
But I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!"
I vegged for the rest of the night and did not do my evening run.
Now I KNOW that I can take a day off,
and I KNOW that there are days like this and that there are days that will be worse,
and I KNOW that it really does not matter that I missed one night to just lay in bed and veg,
But for SOME REASON I am mad at myself.
BECAUSE!
I ALSO know that my run always makes me feel better,
And I KNOW that my workouts keep me young and active.
And I KNOW that in order to lose weight I have to do something active to burn extra calories.
And you know what?
I will work out tonight!
I will make up for not working out last night,
AND I will feel good when I do.
But as for last night.............:frown:
I JUST DID NOT FEEL LIKE IT!

Men..........They can be such a pain in the a@@.
Don't worry. We all do it. It could have been worse. You could of drank a 1/2 bottle of Kahlua (big bottle) and ate a ton of brownies like I did not to long ago.
Just get right back on track and get your run in. Keep a positive attitude.
Sing the song you posted the other day.
Have a fantastic day, and run, run, run

This is basicly a post to everyone to say.
HEY, WE ALL HAVE THOSE DAYS WHEN WE JUST DID NOT FEEL LIKE IT!

    Cute Razbo
    To make myself clear.
My statement was not against ANY or all man.
Sometimes men can be just as Beotchy as us women.

But this was just an extra straw on the camels back.
And being Irish, YEP there have been times when I have drank a half bottle of ink-a-hale.
To make it worse, We also sail. I have NEVER known a boating funtion that did not have libations of one kind or another.

Makes me understand why sailors of the past had missing limbs.
Libations :drinker: + boat + more libations :drinker: + large body of water = major opps, Or at least a funny story.

I JUST haven't FELT like it for THREE days..

I think this may have something to do with it.

    Sunrise: 7:53 AM
    Sunset: 4:17 PM

I leave, it's dark. I come home, it's dark. Is it spring yet? I just want to eat soup and curl up.

I agree. That's why I am losing motivation. Also because I love sweets and I eat till I pop then I feel terrible and get depressed. Starting over today. Ate all the candy in the house so I have to.

I have a weakness for sweets, so I don't keep them in the house. If I want chocolate or candy I have to go out to get it.
