I want everyone to know about my little secret. I've been logging in to this site for the past 2 months or so. It's free to look up recipes. But, I do the optional menu planner. I think it was like $20 or something for 6 months. The menu planner is awesome! I can look up recipes (they have a healthy cooking tab), then send them to my menu for the week. Then, I can send all the ingredients needed for those meals to a shopping list. I use it every week. Also, many of the recipes on there are already on MFP. I usually have 2 windows up on my computer. 1 has MFP, the other allrecipes. Then, I can enter the nutrition information right from allrecipes to MFP.

I use that website too. it is awesome. If you have an iphone they have an app that is a food spinner. Enter in your requirements and they give you a bunhc of recipies that match it. Great for when you are at the grocery store trying to figure out what to buy for dinner last minute.

I love this website so much I became a supporting member several months ago. It's a GREAT resource, especially when you get burnt out cooking the same ol same ol day in and day out.

Thanks for the comment, CJ. Good luck on your quest to lose more. It's so great to read about all the success stories on MFP. This site helps, but it comes down to your willingness to stick with your own program. I had to laugh the other day because someone who started using a powder that you sprinkle on your food to lose weight asked me how I did it. I told her, "I did it the boring way: working out and eating less". LOL Keep up the good work!

I use that site quite often too for the last few years. Just used the allrecipes app on my iphone last night while making peanut butter rice krispie treats for my son's teachers.

I like that you have so many options of searching. For example you can search by what ingredient you want to use or by title of a dish, etc.
