Need a chaser after your workout? This is it.
I have tried body tempering (ending the shower with cold water in my case/cold shower) a couple of years ago (in the winter months even!) and it really gave me a jolt to my day. I felt a lot more alive! Well, now trying it after a workout is even better! Here are some links if you are interested in checking it out.
I take my normal hot shower and then end it with the last 2 minutes or so cold. Feels GREAT! You do have to ease into it and get over the mental part of it.. that is half the fun!

I stumbled upon this when my daughter flushed while I was showering lol. At first I kinda went into shock but then it was nice. Did not realize it could have health benefits though.0

That's pretty interesting. I usually love a cooler shower post workout. I'll have to give this a shot today!0

Also, I've heard that cooler water makes your hair shiner compared to warm water, so i always make sure to do a final rinse with cold water at the end of my shower!0 -
Maybe on my next trail run I'll just jump in the river with my dogs afterwards!0

Once is better than zero. ; )0 -
Cool post- I sometimes rinse my hair with cold water, but try not to get the bod. I'll try it for the immunity boost. Somehow I got onto the Saddleback Leather Co. site and blog from one of the sites you listed and that guy is so cool- great blogger. Glad to find it thanks to you- cheers!0
