I just received the next book in the True Blood Series!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this show and the books are soo much better than the show! How am I going to be doing strength training at the gym during my lunch when all I will want to do be doing is sitting in the incumbent bike reading. LOL!! Can't wait for the new season to come out this summer!

    I got it yesterday on my Nook... I like the books but so far (80ish pages in), this one is DULL!!

    Mine came in the mail yesterday as well!! I am reading "Water For Elephants" right now but as soon as I am finished that is next on my list!

    I love, looove, LOVE the show and cannot wait for June to arrive :smile:

    How is 'Water For Elephants' ? Every time I pass this book at the store I pick it up to read the back. Is it good??

    It is good! I'm about halfway through and it is not as fast paced as what i normally read but the storyline is interesting.

    If it were not for this post, I would have not realized the newest book WAS OUT!!! My school work has had me under a rock and not reading as frequently for enjoyment as I like:grumble: :grumble:

    I just downloaded both of these to my Kindle last night. I am fixing to start Dead Reckoning tonight! Love the Sookie books!!!

    Make sure you read them in order!! If not its not near as good!

    I just received mine too. I love the books. I asked my husband if he wanted to watch the series with me, starting tomorrow. I have season 1 and 2 on dvd. I got to admit at my age some of the sex scenes get to be a little too much. I must be getting prudish in my old age:) Despite those scenes I like the series and love the books.

    I have read all the books from the series! This book is just as good but not as good as the last book i read, Dead in the Family. I am already half way there and I only started reading the book yesterday. My turn around on these series is 1-2 days per book!

    I read the books ( that were out at that time anyways) before the series started. I was ok with season 1, but just kept getting annoyed a the weird plot changes. I stopped watching...but kept reading :) Good books.

    I don't read the books, becasue the ruin the show for me. I am a man of simple visualistic beauty. I like the talking pictures more than words I have to focus my old eyes on.. LOL...
