Lynne here... sick of looking in the mirror and not liking what I see

Generally needing support and motivation to keep me on track

I'm in Manchester (UK) and if anyone wants a walking buddy, please let me know

Happy to accept new friendships and any sensible advice and ways to keep on track..

    Hi Lynne!

Few tips that have helped me is being honest with what I eat/ate even if its just 1 M&M I track it, and I like to have motivation around me either as a wallpaper on my phone or a magazine or web article around the house.

Good advice kbanksjr, I log everything, even if I have one cup of coffee with skimmed milk it goes on!

And don't kid yourself about your exercise: if you drive to the park and leave at 3 and get back at 4, don't put yourself down for an hour walking, you probably did 40 max!

Honestly is the best policy, even on days where I KNOW I have gone massively over (4k cals anyone???) I still log it all.... then sit and look at it and wonder if it was worth it when there are other days with just as much wine, beer or other treats, but stay within because of my food choice (sorry, waffling on a bit there, lol)
