I am trying to find new stations that will motivate me while I am working out.

Who uses Pandora on their phone while working out and what stations get you going??

Black eyed peas give you a great mix.

    So does "ring the alarm"

I don't know if Pandora does it, but there is a site called Slacker, on it you can create your own station. I use that on my home computer while working out, and one have to listen to the bands I want to hear!

For running, I like a harder mix.

    - Avenged Sevenfold
    - Saving Abel
    - Slipknot
    - Drowning Pool
    - Nickelback

or for fun...The Bee Gees. :)

Pandora and Slacker radio are virtually the same thing. I LOVE my Siouxsie and the Banshees station when working out. I also sometimes listen to my Adam Ant station when working out for high energy silly 80's alternative stuff. But everyone's musical tastes differ.

    That's awful!

j/k, I would usually have my own mix but I lost my IPOD. So Pandora is my option for variety.

Great idea! I never thought to use the heavy stuff to get me moving. I  Slipknot!

I like the No Doubt station for some fun pop, but I am all about the custom station. I have lots of stuff like Arcade Fire and Metric that have both fast and slow songs, plus they throw in 'similar' artists which is nice. I LOVE my pandora!

I've also found that I put a lot more effort into my workout when listening to late 70's/early 80's punk like Buzzcoks, The Clash, Dramarama, The Ramones. Or even Iggy Pop.

Ok, I have been listening to the Black Eyed Peas station at work this afternoon...that one will do the trick for certain days.

Going with the hard channel on serious work out days! :drinker:
