PCOS ??? about MET.

Ok PCOS Cysters...I will be going to a new doc hoping to get on the met, and I love my new PCOS Diet book...so easy to follow...so ???? do you take the MET for insulins rect, or to get pregnant? I have all my levels fine in everything, but in my diet book it says met will help with the insulin rect, and lose weight, but you have to follow a healthy eating and exercise style for it to work. I heard of the bad bathroom side effects, please let me know how it works for you and why the doc said to use it.
