I volunteered to level a spot in my yard so my b/f can build a yard shed. BIG mistake! I spent the last two hours with a bucket and a shovel lifting up the sod and moving a TON of dirt! (Literally-a ton!) This isn't the worst part-I get to do it again next week when I dig up a spot for my garden! BUT about half way through the process I realized what a good work out I was getting and I thought I needed to share with everyone here!
I encourage everyone to try this! You don't need a huge yard, just a small 10x10 spot. Not only will you get a great workout preparing the soil and t the weekly weeding but the final results of FRESH vegetables to feed your new body in the end! It is definitely a win-win situation! My mouth is watering thinking of the fresh salsa I can make with my tomatoes, peppers and onions.

I quite often use gardening as a work out, even pulling weeds is a great work out. I dont tend to log it though becasue I think of it as a every day thing like housework. If I was digging like you though I would definilty be logging it!0

Recently, I engaged a tree in a battle to the death. It was a hard fight. I was outmatched as it was 30 feet taller than me, but with my trusty/rusty hand saw I prevailed.
Then I remembered the chainsaw.
I'm still sore.0
