I am over on bodybuilding.com to get ideas on some exercise regimens, so that I go to the gym with a plan. I have currently lost about 15% body fat in the past 7 months, and about 20 lbs since February. Once I got my nutrition in check, I started losing the weight. I like to focus on weightlifing when I am at the gym. I don't know whether to get a "fat loss" or "muscle building" routine. I would like to drop another 20-30 lbs, but I want to be strong at the end. I wish it had a "transform my body" option. Which should I choose? Anyone have experience wtih bodybuilding.com?

I have heard very good things about Stronglifts 5x5. Building muscle will help you lose fat. It is not an either or, although it is very difficult to increase muscle when you are in a calorie deficit. You need to make sure you have a very moderate calorie deficit 300-400 per day max and eat high quality nutrients.

I don't mind in the end if my muscle building isn't as much as it could be because of calorie deficit, but I want the best looking, most efficient body at the end of it all. I plan on maintaining the MFP calorie deficit while eating back exercise calories. I'll start wearing my HRM.

    Bump....

You know I want to know the answer too.

I love that website. I have upped my lifting and lowered my cardio...I am not noticing a difference and it's been a month.

I'd like to see what others say as well....
