Introducing myself

I've been doing this for 25 days. I lost 4 pounds, gained 3 back. So, I started over again this morning. I actually did my "exploring" of the site and actually stopped to read. I know I can do this. I was barely eating any of my activity points, and I'm pretty sure that's where I screwed up. So, I've currently got 1 friend, who gives me a lot of support, and I'm looking for more!

I'm 46, married, 2 boys (a 15-yo with mild cerebral palsy, an 11-yo whose going on 30!). Hubby had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was 41 and has passed his 5-year mark post chemotherapy. To say it's been an up and down life is an understatement! But, we're all still here, breathing this air, and it's time for me to get myself back on track. I had been down to my goal weight the year my hubby was diagnosed, and then things just were stressful from there. I think 5 years is enough time to feel sorry for myself, so I'm back on the horse again. Exercise, eat right, limit portions - it's that easy. I know that. It's that "getting it to stay in my head" that's the hard part!

So, friend me anybody? I need all the support I can get - and I'll give it back too!
