Feeling healthy

I have been 'in bed' for a month after I tore my hamstring from my pelvic, had surgery, and then had a bad reaction to blood thinner and spent a week in the hospital.

Last week, I started feeling good, where I wanted to get up and get around, etc. So, i started moving bit, and each day I moved, I felt better.

I had lost almost 18 lbs in a month, but since I've been moving around, I have gained 4 back. (I'm guessing because I lost muscle because of being bedridden and not moving for days) But anyway, I want to get back to my 'happy' thoughts.

Ok... so two awesome things happened this week!

1. One of my coworkers told me I look 10 years younger and look like I'm in my early 20's. (I'm 34!)
2. I fit my fat a** into a size 8 pair of pants today! They are tight...but I did it!!!! 5 or 10 lbs more and they'll fit me like a dream. A size 8... in August 2010 I was in a 20!

So for anyone who is doing it... and gets down...keep going, keep working, it is WORTH it!

First off, I am glad you are starting to do better. Secondly, listen to your body ~ don't push it too hard too soon or it can be REALLY bad! But good for you. I love when people notice my weight loss and size 8 is great! I hope it works out for you. Good luck!
