Exercise Cals

Hi There!
Having read a few posts from the experts of MFP i am realising that exercise cal's should be eaten in order to achieve your best potential weight loss.
Would you suggest all exercise cals are eaten?
I burned just over 600 yesterday and wasn't sure if i should have them all, actually i think i would have struggled to eat them all anyway as that would have been a 1800 day if i had.
Should i not burn that many if i can't consume them?
Sorry i'm sure you've been asked before!
Thanks x

Whatever works for you! I allow myself to go over my calorie goal if I have exercised, which is most days, but I NEVER eat them all back. Those who do eat them all back AND consistantly lose weight, well, show yourselves on here. I have been stuck at -24lbs for 2 weeks, and don't anyone bother telling me to eat more so I can lose weight - what a crock of horse poo...0

There's a very handy search function which will direct you to a variety of topics on this. Also, check out the stickies for yet more information on this topic. All in all, whatever works for you but it's advised you at least eat some of them or you run too low a defecit.
David - I was consistently eating all of mine back since I started calorie counting, and had lost 16lbs doing so since February. I didn't have one week where I didn't lose, eating back all my exercise cals. (I just got back from a 2 week holiday and gained weight from eating rubbish and not exercising which is why my ticker isn't reflecting my constant losses - plus my ticker is only accurate from when I joined MFP). I lose about 1-1.5lbs a week eating back all my exercise cals.0
