So, here is my question....no laughing!!! Correct me if I am wrong but if a pound is 16oz...how come my digital scale only reads up to .9 and then flips to the next pound....shouldn't it say 159.15 then next it should be 160.0 verses 159.9 to 160.0!!!! I just don't get it!!!! This is probably such a blonde question but I think about it all the time............please explain!!!!!

Your scale isn't reading in pounds and ounces. It's reading in pounds, and tenths of a pound0

The decimal point on your scale is not the ounces, it's the percentage of the pound. For instance - .5 is 8 ounces. or 150.5 is 150 and 8 ounces or 1/2 pound. Hope I didn't confuse it more :-)0

I think that's 10ths of a pound... Not ounces... And yeah, it is confusing the way they do it :grumble:0

I used to have a scale such like that...What i did, i bought another scale made my measurements easier.0
