My favorite breakfast recipe!!! SOOO GOOD
This delicious sandwish has gotten so many compliments, and when I eat it, I feel like I just ate a gourmet breakfast
2 slices low calorie high fiber bread toasted (any bread is fine) 80 - cals
1 slice bacon, cut in half (you can use ham or canadian bacon too) - 30 cals
1/2 cup arugula - 2 cals
2 tomato slices - 12 cals
1 slice low-fat jarlsburg cheese (any cheese works) - 70 cals
1/2 tbsp gray poupon mustard - 5 cals
1 egg fried with cooking spray - 75 cals
salt/pepper
slap together into a sandwich and enjoy!
total calories: total 274
the calories in this are so low, you can add more bacon or another egg, or use regular bread!
and when I have it, I like to add avocado on there too...so good!!!

I've never been much of a cheese 'person', but I looked up this cheese online and hopefully I can find it locally! I believe I would like the flavor of this. I do like Baby Swiss....and the description says Jarisberg is mild and has a sweet and nutty flavor...YUMMY!!! And while looking that particular cheese up online....I saw this sandwich.....Jarisberg cheese, ham, and caramelized onion on toasted bread, which sounds wonderful too.0

Mmm...there is a restaurant here in San Diego that makes a similar sandwich...but with about 800000000 more calories...it's *delicious*.0

Yummy!
I do the 100% whole wheat bread, 2 slices of turkey bacon and a small egg. I toast the bread and put light light mayo but just a dash and you can put lettuce or spanish and tomato.0 -
I do something similar with a few substitutions. I really like the texture of the whole grain English muffins, so use those. It's a few more calories (120 versus the 80), but not too bad still. Or sometimes I'll use the whole grain mini bagels (only 100 calories there). It's fun to vary it up with different cheeses, meats, or mustards too.0
