i just bought a new blender so i can make smoothies anyone have any good recipies i can use with a blender

    a whole bananna, with 50 cal OJ and some strawberries or blue berries with a cup of ice=) you can add a tablespoon of slplenda if its not sweet enough!

    4 oz original almond milk
    1/2 or 1 scoop of whey protein
    1/2 - 1 banana
    3/4 - 1c frozen berries

    Makes a yummy, thick berry milkshake!

    Frozen berries (or any frozen fruit) makes shakes thick and milkshake like

    I cup blue diamond unsweetened almond milk (40 calories)1/2 cup frozen fruit of your choice, I used walmart 4 berry blend with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries) , 1/2 banana (frozen bananas work really well) and 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder of your choice. Blend and enjoy and if you don't need the extra protein, just eliminate the protein powder for a nice fruit smoothie:) Just experiment and find out what you like. Frozen peaches are awesome too:)

    here is my fav -
    1. Protein powder 1scoop
    2. Frozen blue berries or strawberries 1/2 cup
    3. banana 1/2 (optional)
    4. Almond milk or skim milk 4oz
    5. Ice 4-5 cubes
    6. Add water based on your preferred consistency

    Whip it for couple of mins and enjoy!
    Anything in the blender tastes grade. Just make sure you add plenty of ice and fruit.
    You could add Flax or peanut butter 1tsp or low fat yogurt to the mix.. you get the idea

    Banana shake: 1 banana 1 cup of milk :) Just blend it! Banana&Strawberries&milk. 2 Orange, 1 big lemon, 1 grapefruit 1 cup of water and just blend it :))). Mango&banana& 1 cup of water = BLENDING STILL :P You can also make veggies I do tomato& 1 cucumber, 2 garlic,1/2 onion, pepper 1 toast bread bit of olive oil :) and still blend it!!! I love blending anything and everything, but these are the shakes I do mostly!

    I use a cup of Diet cranberry juice (5 calories), 1 cup of frozen fruit (usually blueberries or berry medley from walmart about 70 calories), then yoplait light yogurt (100 calories)......makes a delicious shake for only 175 calories!!!! (sometimes i add my whey protein powder to this one )

    I also do green shakes....because i love veggies...this is a personal favorite......1/2 cup chick peas, 1 cup spinach and i add v8 hot and spicy juice ( 1 cup) I also add cumin and black pepper and hot sauce to mine.....very yummy if you can get past the texture and color :happy:
