6 week update from the newbie

So it has been six weeks since I began my journey with MFP. It has helped me maintain first place in the unofficial Biggest Loser Contest at work. There are 17 contestants and I am #1. Me! Not only am I in first place, but I have been in first place since the second week after the competion began.
I really enjoy reading the success stories and especially the pictures. I am drawing a huge amount of motivation and inspiration from them such that for the first time in my life, I really believe that I can get my weight down to 140 instead of settling for 160 as my goal weight.
I've made a few friends and I read all of their updates and I smile when I see they are losing weight, exercising and making plans that will get them closer to their goals. I smile because I know that I am surrounding myself with determinind individuals and I appreciate them as much as I am really happy for them.
i am careful to only post positive things that will uplift my MFP friends. If I'm having a bad day, I work it out from the inside and bring my best to my friends.
They deserve that from me. After all, they are giving everything they can each and every day to achieve their goals. I love reading about the exercises they are doing: Beachbody's Insanity, Turbo, Brazilian Butt Lift (tourcher chamber) P90, Zumba, couch to 5 k (C25K), IFIT LIVE or just a nice walk.
I hope your experiences on this board are as positive as mine. Stay motivated and KEEP the faith.
Feel free to add me. I really enjoy interacting with people that are fired up and determined.

I'm keeping it coming alright.
By the way, special thanks to you. If it weren't for you, I would have forgotten all about my Beachbody stash. I'm 4 lbs away from my first goal. When I get there, I'm going to step it up with Turbo Jam. I noticed ya'll are burning some major calories using that and I want a piece of that action!0 -
