So I had my blood pressure and BMI checked at work before starting my new lifestyle and my blood pressure was 130/90

is this normal for a healthy fit person? or just normal for someone who is a lot overweight?

Not sure if i need to work on my blood pressure coming down or just let it be

    120/80 is normal

130/85 is high end of normal,

110/75 is low end of normal

130/90 is slightly high, but is more than likely weight related, if you lose weight naturally it will probably come down, hope this helps x

It is slightly high (the diastolic being 90) but I would say it's nothing to stress about at the moment and if you are doing a healthy eating and exercising plan it will come down.
I started at a gym middle of December and my blood pressure was a little high (was really high at introduction but think that was mainly due to nerves!!!) It has slowly been dropping since as my fitness improves.
