I need some amazing ideas for ipod songs. When I walk/jog the music helps me keep a fast pace.

So, what's your #1 ipod song.......

If I need to RUN, I listen to some pretty hardcore stuff. Hole's "Violet" or Drowning's "Bodies". If I am going to ride I listed to more techno, like Sandstorm.
  • If I'm walking at a fast pace, I like British techno or Rammstein.

Anything you would dance to at a party - 80's music is usually pretty upbeat but I also recommend the killers and franz ferdinand!

Some of the action movie soundtracks are awesome for kick-butt get up and go attitude. Tomb Raider is one. La Femme Nakita is another.

I like that new song by Lady Ga Ga. I think it's called 'Let's Dance'. Good upbeat song!
  • I listen to just about everything....

Although hip hop is not always best for jogging/fast paced walking I found

Lil Wayne's - Let it Rock

    Others...

No Doubt - Just a Girl

The Caesars - Jerk it Out

Madonna ft Justin Timberlake - 4 minutes (great for that last lap!)
  • I download "techno jam" podcasts, they are free and they keep me going even on 7 mile days

Miranda Lambert - Gun powder and lead gets my butt moving!

    Beyounce and Fergie dance tracks

PCD too. I love their new single. **Edited the name to the abbreviation. Didn't realize it was a bad word until it got turned into astriks!!***

And I have raided my husband's I-tunes for some heavier stuff. I have found that if I can get mad with an intense song or super giggy with it to a great dance track, I get more out of my workout. Like therapy!!
