Buttery taste on tongue.....?

I started really eating well just a couple of days ago, getting all the fruit and vege and grains and fish and such, and I noticed a funny thing last night. I had this "bread and butter" taste in my mouth. No matter how many times I brushed my teeth or washed out my mouth with water, my teeth feel like they're coated with a thin film of butter. I've had it right through today and I've still got it now.

Has anybody else had this? If so, what's going on, and does it go away eventually?

Hmmm....I've never heard of a buttery taste. But I have experienced a metallic taste in my mouth that would not go away with brushing, etc. - I get that when my fat intake is too low on occasion.

If it bothers you - ask your doctor!
